Imputation is a word regularly used in the context of the knowledge of a company
Since a company are an artificial creation, a persona ficta, it cannot know anything itself unless the knowledge of another person is imputed to it. So in commercial law we often refer to imputation of knowledge
Not really a synonym for accusation or charge though
