as i understand it (and I probably don't) you basically tend to get better quality

streams than the browser based ones through Justintv etc.
Although it seems that not everything you may get a browser stream for will have a sopcast link.

For example the very occasional poster off of here Spicy Rooster uses sopcast a lot to watch stuff, mainly football, but has yet to find a city game Sopcast link.

That'll probably only happen when we are live on Sky or t'beeb rather than when some clever chap is streaming a bet365 feed or the Football League show beam back.
