the claim could be that the outside buisness dealing of Hicks and Gillette has been the reason for not paying the loan rather than the football club.
The fcat they are ignoring the point that Liverpool running at huge losses has also contributed to them not paying the loans.
Until we have leverage rules in place to stop people buying clubs with money they dont have, this will continue.
Thats the reason a leverage rule is in place for most American sporting franchises.
