So what about West Ham?
The parent company was an Icelandic Bank or Group and were they deep in trouble or going bust. West Hamdidn't get a points deduction and were sold on, due to owner problems.
Southampton as far as I know had the stadium owned by one company and the football club by another, but they were so closely linked that the football club was deemed to be in administration if the stadium company were as well.
The Liverpool situation seems to be more aligned with how West Ham were than Southampton, so their nine points appear to be safe for now.
