I was chatting to an in law who's a Bristol City season ticket holder on Saturday.

He said when Jackson was subbed, people all around him in his stand stood to applaud him, recognising the good game he'd had.

He said he'd never seen anything like it before and wondered if it was because they were making the point they need an effective striker.

I must say I can't imagine that I would ever clap an opposition player who'd just scored two goals against us!
