As I said, i'm not against the prospect...

but I can understand why some think it may not be wise.

Shacks hasn't been at his best so far this season, so pitching a new (young) player in alongside him might not help. If the reason he's not playing so well is down to Flem (or our other defenders) then it can only improve the situation.

Either way, i'd be disappointed if we didn't see them line-up together at some point (unless Flem and Davenport forge an awesome partnership).
