I've watched quite alot of old football on ESPN etc

The only thing I don't prefer is the back pass which was great to have got rid of. There was far more dribbling back in those days and teams weren't so organised. Much more enjoyable. Just the whole rawness of football back then, the lack of commercialism etc. Was better.

You say about the attendances, but back then I remember being a rarity for liking football. Now every Tom Dick and Harry "supports"Chelsea/Man United.

And of course back then there was a real chance of doing something, rather than dreaming of 17th in the prem

South Stand better because I prefer stands with character. It's a big thing of mine. I hate modern stadiums and the day we move to one is the day I stop going.
