techie question

Anyone on here upgraded from vista to windows?

My laptop is now getting really hot and Speedfan shows the CPU getting to near 90C when doing something taxing and I think it could get even hotter.

Reading about it seems its windows 7 not controlling the fans etc properly but as it's ACER, they would like me to ring their 50p per min call centre as its out of warranty. Pants to that.

Their BIOS wont run so that option is out of the window.

Anyone know of some program that could assist?
