20/20 is supposed to be all about action and excitement on the field

They need to decide; is it a crap open-air rave or is it a cricket match?

The best football crowds are spontaneous. Not just when the goals go in or whatever, but something unsual happens - opposing winger fluffs his cross, whatever - and someone starts a chant or song. The very best football crowds will come out with something semi-original and amusing.

They're breeding that out of the supporters. Yes, something has officially happened, you may now get up and cheer (but don't forget to sit down again, ta!).
