...spot on. Rooney and his ilk feel as if they are, somehow, divided from what we would term 'normal', dare I even use the phrase, "moral " society. Their fame, wealth and related ego's gives them a sense of being able to do what they like, when they like, with who they like, and, never mind the consequences, in their eyes, there aren't any, shouldn't be any-because of who they are, and how they perceive themselves...

Perhaps if that issue was touched upon, discussed (sensibly-sorry, that rules you out NOTW etc) and seen as a problem that needed addressing, one which also contributes to their professional ability (and come on, how many of them actually give a f**k about the game full stop, let alone playing for England) then we might have a more rounded approach and get some answers to the issue of these wealthy idiots and their kamakaze attitude to life, the Universe, and everything...
