And just for a really, REALLY skewed view
It has occured to me that if I were a dodgy betting syndicate, what better way to improve your odds than to place a load of bets on the one-dayers, and then nobble to Pakistani team (Who aren't too shabby at the one-day lark) by removing their two best bowlers and captain, than by manufacturing a "scoop" for News of the Screws.
News of the Screws profits.
Dodgy bookmaker more likely to profit.
Will the allegations actually amount to anything? Neither care.
And to get really, REALLY, *REALLY* skewed...how many bookies do Rupert Murdoch's companies own? The same Rupert Murdoch who owns...News of the Screws.
Hmm.
Artichoke.
