Technical advice needed
I've had a btclick.com email address for fecking ages, which came with the BT Small Business Broadband package I signed up to yonks ago when I was a freelancer.
Now I've "gone permie" i.e. taken a proper job I want to switch to something like BT Total which is much cheaper for the now much reduced use I'll make (though the missus and kids still use it and I still want a fast link).
I'm anxious to keep on to my old.man@btclick.com email address as *everyone*, not just contacts but every site I've ever interacted with (possibly except this one :-) has me registered to it and to go round changing it would be a painful and long process.
Of course BT can't tell me if I can keep the btclick address.
And of course I am now totally pissed off with BT not answering a simple question - they will get less money out of me if I switch to Total but they will get zero money out of me if I switch to TalkTalk, Virgin or A N OtherProvider which I am now very seriously considering (if I've got to go through the pain, at least I could get the benefit of moving everything, landline included, at the same time so I never have to do that again).
After all that...simple question. What Should I Do?
Warmly grateful for any knowledge/advice other wrathers can offer.
