I take your point, and agree with a lot of it.

I think its a very fine line between creating a community for support, and then appealing to it, whilst avoiding distancing yourselves at the same time.

While the community is too strong I suppose total integration is almost impossible, but the community has value whilst total integration and acceptance hasn't happened.

Which is perfectly demonstrated by etuwho.
