I understand the Roeder hate but.........

I dont understand the point that he caused the mess we are in?

We were rock bottom of the champs when Roeder came in after spending all our para payments.

Not in the bottom 3 when he left.

He made some good loans in his first season with players like Mo Cam, second season he lost the plot, I think we can all agree on that.

Did he have any other choice. Did he have money to spend?

Roeders problem was he was an arrogant t**t and pissed off the fans.

You can't do that.

While I agree that Lambert has done a fantastic managerial job, he has mostly used players that were either already here or Gunn brought in.

Of the first choice strongest 11 from last year.

Martin
Doc
Nelson
Drury

Russell

Lappin
Smith

Wes

Holt
Martin

Only 2 of those players were players chosen/bought by Lambert.

Compared, Roeder had an incredibly poor squad to work with, no money to buy quality.
What could he do?

I dont think Roeder is a very good manager but to say he is the root cause of all our long term problems does not stand scrutiny.....
