the previous two managers pissed away all the prem money we had.

Ironically the squad was stronger than when he came in yet he sold (money wise) more than he bought.

Do you deny that Roeders first season was very succesful considering the position we were in when he came in?

All he did was delay the inevitable by one season.

We had a very mediocre squad and no money to buy quality.

The board wouldnt let him buy anyone of note but he could loan in who he liked....... what choice did he have?

Of course when it works (as in the first season) he is a f**king hero.......

When it totally falls apart he is an idiot.

Thats the life of being a football manager where the sack is the only gaurantee.

What didn't help was that Roeder went to the usacanary charm school.

A nicer less arrogant manager would have maybe been given longer to keep us up.
