Agree with that analysis. Now I want to hear from the mass-media's multitude of

commentators, chief football correspondents, football editors, summarisers, analysts, pundits, ex-players, ex-managers as to what they really think. All we get from Graham Taylor, Mike Ingham, Shearer etc. is a mealy-mouthed ducking of the issue. They're afaid of upsetting current players, managers, Ingerland supporters, just about anyone. The nearest I've heard to sense was from Motty, and that was a very oblique hint that it was the players who were the problem - they have no right to "have a problem with the manager", they're there to do a specific job for their country - a short, sharp, brutal battle.
