they simply try harder, close down quicker, chase more, sprint more, and generally look as if they give a s**t.

I'm sure our players wanted to win, but for them it's not the biggest deal, the Champs League is. Ditto Italy and France.

Germany are young and hungry, and teams like Brazil and Argentina do have better technical players than us.
