Surely the main flaw there is that any player should be motivated and sprited enough
to beat the so called inferior teams, in order to then face the challange of the elite teams.
If any player has no ultimate desire to do this and win the World Cup, why play for England at all? They don't have to.
It's not the law, as you will know Judge.
