OK, I've read it. It's more cogent than most of the theories and general s**t's that being

aired on the internet and the other media. It may be correct, but if so, you have to question the mental capacity of our players (I do that constantly, anyway): how do you get to play the best national sides? By playing the rest - duuuhhhhh. It's kind of like the Premier League, Wayne - you play Chelsea and Arsenal, but you have to play Stoke, Bolton, Blackpool etc. to earn it.

If you're right, it's inexcusable, and the players should be put in the stocks and bombarded with sponges soaked in fetid pig's urine. Fuck it - let's do that anyway.
