I'm not convinced about problems with the ball - it doesn't seem to me to curve or dip much in flight (but that might be a problem in itself). The Aussie goal today looked like a complete misjudgement by the keeper - the flight and bounce seemed true to me and I think he just saw it late.
Have to say though this world cup isn't very good so far; but it seems to me that it's a general lack of quality from the players. I've enjoyed several games; but some (like the Japan-Holland game earlier) were pretty dire.
