yup, agreed. And Lennon's usual gambit

is to use his pace to get himself that yard or two of space to get a cross in. In which case I think the onus is on him to just hit that dangerous space in front of the keeper, and hope someone can get there.

Agreed that if he has more space - which he will occasionally, although not often in a World Cup - he should do more than that.

There was one time on Friday he had luds of time and space - and I thought he should just have shot, rather than aiming for the far post, as he did. Looked like a lack of confidence in himself to me.
