It's bound to attract attention and sad to say is much more than likely be stolen before it is lost. And I'd be worried about the effect of it being stolen, especially if she has it stolen from per person as opposed to lifted out of say, a schoolbag.
Apols if I'm judging the kids or the area round where I live to wherever round Norwich that you live.
My elder daughter has a cheap but ok pay as you go which has not been lost yet, and highly unlikely to get nicked or attract attention.
