Here's the thing. Doc did us good service, even though he was never *that* good (yes I know he had a great season etc etc but not going back to that - this is a general summary), but, despite the fact that he was wheeled out by Joe Ferrari more often than a bin on collection day, I don't think he was ever a heart and soul Nodger in the mould of many who've come here. He wanted to leave before, he would probably have quite happily left on relegation and I don't think he'll ever say that the club he looks out for is NCFC. Nice chap - yes, cult hero - latterly, but one of those who strikes me as Mr Norwich - no.
