Was made to feel a bit pervy this lunchtime, through no fault of my own.

I went for a swim at lunchtime, as I try to do as many luchtimes as I can. So I left the office with my bag over my shoulder, and walked out to the Wedge, and got in. As I was firing her up, one of the girls from the office next door drives past in her little convertible Ford StreetKa.

Anyhoo, when I get down to the bottom of the drive out of our carpark, she's there at the bottom signalling right, the way I'm going. So we both go right onto the road.

When we get down to the junction with the main road she sticks in the left turn only lane, as do I, 'cos that's the way to the gym.

When the lights change we're off, and on the main road she immediately pulls out into the right hand lane, as do I, 'cos the gym is on the right, and otherwise you get stuck in the queue of traffic waiting to turn left.

So we pootle along for a minute or so, and as we get towards the filter lane for the gym, I stick on the right indicator, and moments after I do, she actually reaches the filter lane and moves into it without signalling. She's turning into the little lane where the gym is as well. There's a coincidence. Well, thinks I, there's plenty of other premises down there, she might not be going to the gym.

But as she gets to the turning for the gym's carpark she indicates left and pulls in, as do I. She *is* going to the gym.

Now, I should add, that once or twice I've seen her looking in her rear-view mirror at me, so I'm all paranoid thinking "I hope she doesn't think I'm some nutjob that's just followed her to the gym."

Anyhoo we both park up, me slightly closer to the gym entrance than she does. And because I'm a bloke and I haven't got a handbag to f**k about with and god knows what else, I'm straight out and into the gym before her.

Go up and get changed, jump into the pool and start majestically pulling myself through the water, like some sort of f**king salmon.

As I finish the second length, who do I see walking round the edge of the pool? For f**k's sake. Now I'm thinking that she must be thinking that I'm some stalker that's figured out that she swims at lunchtime, and has come to see her in her cossie.

Fucking hell.

So that's what happened on my lunch break.
