apparently the full details will be released at 2.15pm today

i think the Lib Dems were actually in really quite a weak position in all this, and will continue to be the longer it lasts - again i think that if they're to sell the country that PR is the way forward they need to show that coalition governments can work, whereas the Tory party will be trying the exact opposite.

from what i've seen in the Times User Posted Link

PR for the House of Lords
Referendum on AV (which could be a steppingstone in the long run)
Fixed term parliaments
?10k personal allowance (wooly language though)
Increase in Capital Gains tax
No lifting of Inheritance Tax Allowance
Abstain from the vote on Married Tax Allowance
Free vote on Trident (let's see how progressive Labour become...)
Outlawing the Detention of child migrants

The civil liberties programme to be implemented will also be interesting to see.

What was the realistic alternative though?
