Pilates can be great

It all depends on the teacher. Best one I had was an ex ballet dancer, about 7 foot tall and weighing about 6 stone. Her movements were so precise and graceful she made a giraffe look like a hippo that's been at the pies. But she moved to North London and wouldn't come to our house in the deep south any more so that was that.

Second best was an UNBELIEVABLY pretty Brazilian girl with startling blue eyes and lycra that was so tight you wondered if she was just wearing body paint. I had to sack her, she was distracting

Worst was a fat trout who brought along an exercise mat stinking of nicotine and who seemed to have picked up Pilates from a 1950s PE manual
