I just hate thinking I'm missing something. Did the Army play into it by not even going through some rudimentary 'what options have you tried' discussion with her?

Of course, she's joined the Army and not Aviva, so frankly I'm surpised this wasn't considered in the judgement. Or maybe it was & she'd normnally get more? Dunno, that's the frustrating thing.

I thought that if you joined up you were supposed to put duty first, I also thought they looked after families. Dunno, any input from a Forces person would help.
