Went to Zimbabwe....

summer of 2008. Only a day trip from Livingstone but Vic Falls from the Zim side is a sight to behold and we also went to a lion breeding programme where we were able to walk with (and stroke) lions.

Amazing time. People still as friendly as ever despite all they've been through in the last 10 years.

Been a long time since I went to rest of the country but it's on the to do at some point - hopefully in better times.

Despite all the bad news stories, if you ever get the opportunity, it's still a great country to visit.
