Just stated a fact
that Sven picked Kirkland ahead of Green when he was playing in the reserves at Puddle. He has yet to do that with Carson but he still has time.
Judging by his comments last week, Green clearly felt he should have been on the bench. I sent an e-mail to a friend on Friday predicting that Green would not get the nod and I was right.
Robinson is there on merit and unless he has a serious injury/drop in form is there for the foreseeable and I have no problem with that. Kirkland has already managed a couple of flaky performances for the Baggies so on that basis, Green is on better form. Its just the usual big club/big city mentality that has pervaded the thinking of most of the England Coaches down the years
As for England in general, I am pretty indifferent.
