Ostriches deserve to die because they are so stooped. I was at an Ostrich farm in Curacao, watching with amusement as the staff tried to convince one of the idiotic beasts to give up trying to squeeze his body through an 8-inch gap in the fence. They are so stupid they don't understand that their body is bigger than their head. He'd got his head through and had been standing there pushing for about 15 minutes.
