Are the Pompey players aware that they earn salaries many multiples above the national average?
Are the Pompey players aware that low-paid staff are being laid-off?

Have the glass half-full PR alchemists at EPL / FA informed us that players have made a financial sacrifice (or even *offered* to make a financial sacrifice) to help lower-paid staffers?

There is nothing complicated about it; "two players" have apparently offered to take wage cuts, leaving 20 or 25 others who have not done so. The saleability of the club is nothing to do with it.
