If it is a big brand the thinking is quite clear to me

the fact we are announcing in early march and showing it off suggests to me that they want to ride on the wave of success at the moment. So a deal with a bigger brand will boost sales even further. I would imagine the home kit sells nearer to 15,000 rather than 5,000 at the moment. A bigger brand and a feel good few months of sales in wake of our very likely title winning season will push sales around the 20,000 mark over a couple of season with half of that coming in the next few months. This will be added to the playing budget hopefully. Remember a lot of fans who don't make the games probably buy the shirt and support the club in this way. XXL alone will probably go through 1000 in 2 seasons.
