Not sure how old David James is, but I would stay with us for another year...See if we manage to get back up at the first attempt, if we do fair enough and if not then probably leave...Like you said dont think he will be England number 1 for the 2006 world cup...I think he stands a better chance by biding his time and aiming for the 2008 Euros when David James may have been dropped or retired
