Perhaps a call to Tony F's PA might have clarified his movements...perhaps even have asked his boss (who I guess knew he was having a guest).
Reporting the news is what after all he is paid to do, perhaps he needs to work a bit harder at it...I'm not sure his job description is simply 'tweeting bolllocks and arguing over your competence publically with club officials'.
