is that we never made the contingency plans in advance for what would happen if we were relegated.
Your only solution is that we should have cut everything from the playing budget in the summer. We don't know if this were possible, or if it were, why it didn't happen. But it didn't. So we shouldn't now knock all levels of cost saving that have to be made.
Isn't this what the Turners tried to do, and got shifted away? Perhaps if things had been done at that time, then these threads wouldn't have happened.
