Sorry I'm confused there.

I see the logic of your opinion, it is better to be debt free as soon as possible, and we should only try and live within our means (in terms of revenue coming into the club). However this is now a club with ambition and aspirations from the fans to the players, the board to the manager. Therefore I think it is more important to fulfill that ambition through success rather than focussing on clearing our debt. Of course we shouldn't try and run before we can walk, and should be cautious against taking on debt which we cannot afford.
