the wages offered to him on his return were the clubs choice we cant blame him for taking them.
The fact he hasnt hit the heights we expected performance wise cant entirely be blamed on him, from what i've heard the effort has always been there. He went on loan last year so he could hopefully help the cause further. It didnt happen.
The fact remains he wanted to do well for the club, which is more than a lot of others. We can't hold it against him that he's the wrong side of 30 and in the twilight of his career.
