which, as you say, would mean that the detectors would need to be just behind the line. but the idea is a good one. In fact it's an idea i came up with myself when i was about 7, but no-one listened to me. I also came up with an idea to play on a glass pitch so you could have cameras underneath the players to give a different angle on debatable tackles. I expect it to be introduced any day now.
