FAO Jumbo1: how did he reset his whole laptop?
Unless he's reinstalled from the OS X DVD? If not then it'll be in the keychain.
Is it a wireless or wired network? Do you have the password stored on another computer?
If it's a wireless network then you'll need to log into the router to reset the password and that depends on the router make and model; but usually it's 192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 - just open a browser and type that into the address field. If the router is password protected you'll need that too...
