too many words..........

Rendezvous was supposed to be 17:29 but being a King?s virgin and not knowing anyone else who was attending I arrived 10 minutes early, as I nervously approached the door to the 'Pub of Dreams' I thought it would be good to get a pint then keep an eye on the door and try to spot any WrathWrothers as they arrived.

Immediately after entering I ordered a pint of Guinness and glanced around - there was a familiar looking chap nervously playing with his phone I sensed straight away he was one of us, I positioned myself at the end of the bar whilst studying him, it hit me - this man has been seen by literally hundreds on the telly ? our very own Megson, I leaned in and quietly whispered ? are you waiting for Ben? are you Megson? he was and we were both relieved that we had safely made contact.

We started to look for others and assumed that a table near the window was full of us too (mixed bag of 9 odd looking people drinking curdled brown yoghurt) but before we had chance to ask them what they had for lunch we decided to seek help from the friendly bar staff ? ??excuse me do you know where Ben is situated in this fine establishment?? I asked the young man who looked in charge ? ??yes he has a table over there but I don?t think he is in yet?? he replied, myself and Megson then went down the steps into the area we were shown but could not easily identify anyone ? I had suspicions that two of the chaps were Otto and Garry 2 R?s from camcan?s description of long flowing glossy locks (for Otto) and a penchant for NCFC merchandise (2R?s) but we were still too nervous to ask so we decided to explore the mysterious Pub of Dreams further and made a dash for the ?Concrete of Dreams? so that Megson could get over the shock of meeting me and to calm his nerves with a fag!

Outside we were disappointed to find the concrete was not actually laced with gold however we had a chat and a laugh and after a few minutes decided to go back in and brave it once more, sure enough yet another media whore soon entered and although we too had never met I could not miss this fine figure of a man after seeing so many publicity shots in the past of him in various state of undress whilst having his body hair waxed off ? yes you?ve guessed it our very own Jim Nasium had arrived and we quickly made ourselves know to him ? what a blessing Jim actually knew many of the others and started to introduce us ? it was great, we met Otto, Garry Brooke, MBK (who actually look less like Mark ?f**king? Curry than I do!!) Jaski (who was trying to blend in with the normal?s), APB, Arganth, LOJ, strap on sally?s brother... the list goes on on on and on - a bit like Lovely Old Job was after his full day?s drinking!

The evening was really starting to get exciting and we had just secured a large enough table for us all to converge on when I realised the time, my coach was about to turn into a pumpkin and the Ugly Sister was expecting me back before the clock struck 8 and I realised I had to make a dash - I hastily said my goodbyes and disappeared into the cold night air ? what a pleasure it had been to meet my fellow WrathWrothers ? they were all normal (to the eye) as well, such a great surprise and hopefully now I am not a scared virgin will see much more of my new friends again soon!
