What an investment !!!
I remember wondering why we had bought the ground in 1971/72? I think it cost c?30k and I thought that it would have been better spent on another top striker (David Cross cost c?30k) for that.
What a tremendous investment it was!
Chief executive David McNally and chairman Alan Bowkett suggested five solutions to plug the gap at last week's press conference - including the sale of Carrow Road, valued at ?34.5m, and leasing the ground at a cost of at least ?1m per year.
