Swann dropping Smith, bringing Kalis to the crease about an hour later when the ball was doing less.
Strauss being too attacking too early and going cheaply when we needed the openers to survive the first hour.
Can see why Strauss tries to attack, its been working for him and its a good ploy. He needed to consider the match more though, and wait a bit longer than the last ball of the first over!
