all music has its merits, some more than others. What I'm saying is that marketed music

dominates sales, and that marketing clearly has a great effect on what people choose to listen to.
The record companies' ultimate wet dream would surely be everyone buying just one track by one artist, and hopefully it would be something formulaic that could easily and cheaply be produced and reproduced
