The exposure of X factor and anything Cowell is involved in is at saturation point. The only way this might have given them more exposure is possibly to an amarican audience.

The money is irrelevant some people are just f**king sick to death of the same old clap trap that gets wheeled out and forced down the throats of people stupid enough to buy it. Anyone who buys the x factor single should be banned from ever having a point of view about music.

On top of that RATM are one of the greatest bands of all time who actually had a set of balls and empowered their fans to try to make a f**king difference in the world.

They signify how important music can be. They are the polar opposite of the Factory bollocks.

Ultimately the side with the exposure win here is RATM and that is a great thing.
