I'll recount a little story my dad told me about one of his workmates.
Every day she used to drive the few miles to work and get there nice and early so she could park in exactly the same space in the council carpark in Bury St. Eds.
One day she arrived a bit later than normal and someone was parked in her space. Despite the fact that there were only a few cars in the carpark, she turned around, drove back home and took a taxi to work....
