I think the Board know that, with us in a strong position, to sell Hoolahan (or anyone important) come January would destroy all of the goodwill slowly being built up between club and supporters again.

If we don't go up, Wes and countless others will be gone, no question and accept that.

If we screw up our chances of going up by selling players that would have helped get us there & likely stay in that eventuality-well, back to square one and even more hostility, especially heading Delia's way, as well as the possibility of losing our Manager.

They simply would not dare sell any of the big names come January.
