But if you were trying to measure success, then comparing a points haul in League One vs a points target a division higher 6 years previously is obviously not a good comparison.

What you could do is discover what the points target was in 2003/4 and the percentage of those we gained at this time during the season, then compare it to the percentage of our points target we have gained so far this season.

Remember, our target this year was promotion or bust.
