tbh I think this is another case where our being relegated might be for the best
we've had to be frugal this season and had no real reason to be otherwise. It caused the change in board members which seem to point towards a better running of the club.
I hate to say this because of Malky adoration - but he was on the radio the other week talking about how much use he'd made of the loan system. I really think that large number of loans might be a key sign of trouble to come - clubs use them because they can't afford that level of player to buy, but then the costs seem to escalate and into the vortex they go. No scientific evidence but the loans seems to be part of the keeping up with the joneses that football has forced on clubs.
