Not high I would have thought

It's quite clear that it was the Colchester chairman rather than us that told Lambert we were interested.

The Colchester chairman then gave us permission to speak to Lambo on the condition that we did not "directly or indirectly induce him to breach his contract with Colchester United". No doubt that conversation with Lambert was minuted and we can show that we complied.

Lambert, Culverhouse and Karsa have the right to work for anyone they like. What they do not have the right to do is breach their contracts with their employer. Since Colchester are not taking them to court for breach of contract it seems reasonable to suppose that no breach could possibly be proven.

Give 'em a pre-season friendly and tell 'em to f**k off.
