To be fair (i've turned into Beardsley) the ref should not have said that wasn't handball.

If he saw it, he can't possibly say it wasn't!
If he didn't see it, that's what he should have said.

A player can forgive a ref if his line of sight has been blocked and he's missed something.
Saying "i can tell you 100% that was not handball" is going to look a little silly once he does see it.

Anyhoo, its the lino who should have seen it. He's got a clear line of sight from where he is on the far touchline through to where Henry catches it. There is no way he could have failed to see that.
